Overview

Hêfk-dèzepía Ye was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1402, by Èqthêv. The establishment of Hêfk-dèzepía Ye suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Hêfk-dèzepía Ye was built using the conventions of Iron Elvish durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Hêfk-dèzepía Ye is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Hêfk-dèzepía Ye is buildings are built arround a single spacious carved bedrock mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Astonishigly, the brittle defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Hêfk-dèzepía Ye gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Hêfk-dèzepía Ye can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Hêfk-dèzepía Ye places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
